Four months after getting engaged, actress Brittany Murphy, 26, and talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz, 39, have called it off, bringing their 13-month relationship to an end.
Sources tell PEOPLE the split was “amicable” and the duo vow to “remain friends.” Murphy, who is a client at Kwatinetz’s management company, The Firm, continues to be repped there.
The couple had never set a wedding date.
The couple became engaged Jan. 9 at the Silent Movie Theater on L.A.’s Fairfax Boulevard, after having started dating last spring following Murphy’s breakup with Ashton Kutcher, her costar in 2003’s Just Married.
