1997: After attending a Manchester United soccer game, Posh meets English soccer player David Beckham who requests a meeting with the Spice Girl. "She's my idea of perfection. I knew that if she wanted me, we would be together forever." The two begin dating and attract a great deal of media interest. 1998: Beckham, 23, proposes to Posh, 24, at Cheshire's Rookery Hall Hotel with a $65,000 three-plus-carat diamond ring he designs for her. After he asks for her hand, Posh gives Beckham an $80,000 three-tiered band of 96 diamonds as an engagement ring. 1999: Posh and Beckham welcome a 7-lb. baby boy, Brooklyn Joseph. "[A baby] is something we have always wanted," Beckham says to a crowd of reporters a few hours after the delivery in London. July 1999: Posh and Beckham marry at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland in an $800,000 wedding. The bride and groom sit on gilded red-velvet thrones, while a four-month-old Brooklyn acts as ring bearer. Feb 2005: Posh and David welcome Cruz David to their family. He is born via Caesarean section in Madrid, and immediately causes a stir like a true Beckham. Cruz, which is traditionally a girl's name, warrants the Guardian to ask: "Trend-setting moniker or crashing blunder by Posh and Becks?" Baby Cruz joins big brothers Brooklyn, 6, and Romeo, 2. 2011: Shortly after the holidays, Victoria and David announce they are expecting their fourth child in the summer. "If we're blessed to have more children, it would be amazing," Victoria said last year when asked about expanding their brood. "It's a lot having three boys...But who knows, one day?" July 2011: The pop star-turned-fashion designer and her soccer star husband David Beckham welcomed Harper Seven Beckham at 7:55 a.m. Sunday in Los Angeles. "Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family," says Beckham spokesperson Jo Milloy.
