Hamilton later revealed that the reason for their divorce was not only Cameron's blind devotion to his work to the exclusion of almost everything else, but also that he had been dating Suzy Amis, as they were "taking a break from each other and he was free to go with her", an actress he cast as Lizzy Calvert in Titanic. Hamilton played the role of Sarah Connor in both Terminator films. Amis played the part of Lizzy Calvert, Rose's granddaughter, in Titanic.
