Nivea and Lil Wayne began dating in February, 2002. They
first got engaged on December 11, 2002. They planned to
marry on March 9, 2004. In August 2003, Lil Wayne broke off the engagement and became engaged to his daughter's mother Antonia Johnson. Nivea went on to marry Singer, Songwriter, Producer The Dream that following year. After they were both divorced, they started dating again in 2008. Earlier in 2008, Nivea proposed to Wayne, but he rejected her saying that he was married to the game. He later proposed to her in September, 2008, which she accepted. In June 2009, Nivea and Lil Wayne broke off their engagement for the second time. Nivea claimed that Lil Wayne's artist Shanell Woodgett was the reason behind the split. She wrote on her myspace, "Mood: betrayed Wanting everyone to know that Shanell (the background slut that sings with Lil Wayne) is a piece of trash and not to be respected!" On November 30, 2009, She gave birth to their son Neal.
