Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has split from his model girlfriend Jourdan Dunn who he has been dating since last summer, according to reports.
The 23-year-old top international model was all set to be the queen of the WAGs and lead them in Brazil World Cup, but she is too busy with her career, the Mirror reported.
According to sources the relationship is over and both of them have moved on.
Sources close to the pair have also said that their relationship had grown into more of a friendship.
A source close to the footballer said: “The relationship is over, both have moved on. It’s a shame as they got on really well but they just had too much going on. Jourdan will not be going to the World Cup.
“Any plans that might have been made earlier are no longer.
“Daniel has another fledgling romance, so that girl may go instead. If not, he will go single.
“Both are a bit gutted but their careers are important and Jourdan’s four-year-old son is a priority.”
