Kate Gosselin is probably feeling a little less protected nowadays since her longtime bodyguard, Steve Neild has allegedly resigned from his position.
The 51-year-old will be starting a new job as Executive Vice President of Prudential Associates, a new report says.
Kate has been rumored to be dating Steve for years, and In Touch exclusively broke the news that the divorced mother-of-eight and her bodyguard allegedly shared a hotel room in March when Kate was appearing on Celebrity Apprentice.
A source added he and the reality star “no longer have any communication.”
Steve's wife, Gina, reportedly told her husband "his time with Kate as her bodyguard was making the family miserable and that he had to make a choice,” a neighbor of the couple said.
The silver fox, “made the decision to spend quality time with his family this summer,” the neighbor said in the ENQUIRER report.
Here's hoping Kate gets some new security soon to keep her and her brood of eight adequately protected from the paparazzi... and her ex-husband John Gosselin.
